Ben Reilly used to go by the name Peter Parker. After changing his name and spending 5 years on the road believing himself to be a clone, he found himself drawn back to New York and his old life. Once returned to the Big Apple, web slinging was bound to follow. Dubbed The Scarlet Spider much to his cringe, he found himself teaming up the New Warriors and Spider-Man more often than not. But after the discovery that the man going by Peter Parker/Spider-Man all these years was in-fact the clone and that Ben was the original, it threw everyone's life upside down. With this news surfacing and Peter Parker starting a family and wishing to retire, Ben has accepted the title of The Spectacular Spider-Man once more and is ready to swing into action.
